The Challenge
Corona’s iconic global Sunsets Festival returns to Hong Kong for its second edition to serve the perfect end to summer with a local and international music festival, arts and crafts workshops and Corona beers! With a conservative budget, the challenge was to find a venue that offered idyllic sunsets, high foot traffic and synergy with trade partner outlets.
The Approach
After an exhaustive venue search, LORE proposed transforming Stanley Plaza and Promenade into an ultimate weekend getaway for this two-day outdoor beer festival. With the stunning Stanley waterfront as backdrop, the festival featured awesome local indie bands including Supper Moment and popular international DJs like Marc Vedo dropping global beats on the Mandala Stage. The public could be part of the tribe and join the festival spirit with face painting and mandala tattoos at the handicraft workshops or party and catch the sunset with an ice-cold Corona and Corona-inspired cocktails at locally activated bars and restaurants. For two days, Stanley was transformed into an unforgettable music festival for visitors to break free from the hustle and bustle of the city and bring to life the magical moment of the sunset.
